Chocolate Sesame Bombs

Gently fried mochi (rice cake) filled with the best dark chocolate we could find, kissed by caramel and cooled off with a vanilla ice cream. We think even Willy Wonka’s Japanese division would approve.





About Sesame

Sesame came about when a Japanese & American couple came to Cambodia and started to think about what kind of food would work for the climate. Based on traditional, and not so traditional cuisines, Sesame Noodle was born, mixing aspects of Japanese, Chinese and a splash of Americana (and don’t forget the tahini). We’re currently only open for lunch but looking forward to dinner in early 2013– check back soon.

In America, most of the noodles were hot, but the weather was very cold. Now I'm back in Phnom Penh, enjoying the change to cool noodles in hot weather -- you should try this Sesame Noodle Bar place.
